Frequently Asked Questions
Revival Reentry SPC FAQ
Q: What is Revival Reentry SPC?
A: Revival Reentry SPC is a developing organization dedicated to reducing recidivism, homelessness, and unemployment for justice-involved individuals in Mendocino County, California. We are in the visionary launch stage, building partnerships, funding, and infrastructure to bring our programs to life.
Q: Are your services currently active?
A: Not yet. Revival Reentry is in the planning and launch phase. While no direct services are currently offered, we are laying the groundwork for housing, employment pathways, peer support, and therapeutic services.
Q: What services will you eventually provide?
A: Our vision includes:
Transitional housing and sober living environments
Employment opportunities (including a thrift store employment program)
Peer support and case management
Life skills training (financial literacy, parenting, anger management, etc.)
Therapeutic and counseling services
Q: Who will be eligible once programs launch?
A: Our programs are being designed for justice-involved individuals—those released from incarceration, or on parole/probation—seeking housing, employment, and life stabilization support. We will also provide resources for families and partner with local organizations.
Q: Why Mendocino County?
A: Mendocino County faces high costs and significant challenges with incarceration. It costs roughly $150,000 per year per inmate in the county jail system. In 2023, California spent nearly $10 billion on recidivism violations, with $3 billion of that on technical violations. Revival Reentry aims to reduce these costs by providing proactive, supportive reentry solutions at the local level.
Q: How is Revival Reentry funded?
A: We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, currently supported through donations and partnerships. All donations are tax deductible and directly support the development of housing, employment, and program infrastructure.
Q: How can I support this mission now?
A: Even before services launch, you can play a vital role by:
Donating to help us secure housing and resources.
Partnering as a business, landlord, or service provider.
Volunteering your time, expertise, or mentorship.
Sharing our mission with others who believe in second chances.
Q: How will donors be recognized?
A: Revival Reentry will feature a Donor Appreciation Wall on our website to honor those who make this vision possible. Our success depends on community generosity.
Q: When will services begin?
A: Our launch timeline depends on funding, partnerships, and community support. We are actively working to open our first transitional housing program and will update supporters as milestones are reached.
